A hotel inside a wellness club
MIX isn't a hotel with a spa. It's a gym and wellness club of up to 5,500 m² with 180 rooms, two restaurants, a rooftop bar and a food market, in the former Royale Belge headquarters in green Watermael-Boitsfort. On a Saturday the same building serves overnight guests, club members, brunch tables and spa visitors, and every one of them has a question.
So every guest who books a stay gets a WhatsApp message matched to what they booked. The Pampering package, the Restore package, the All-in, a rate with parking and a family with children each get their own welcome. When MIX runs something special, a curated weekend or a members' party, the guests staying those nights hear about it before they arrive. And when they write back, the answer comes in under 10 seconds, at any hour.
In 2026 that added up to 4,500+ conversations and 30,000+ messages, and the team typed fewer than one in 25 of them.
What guests buy says a lot about the place. Late check-out brings in more than half of all extras revenue, most of it with wellness access included. Breakfast is about a fifth, early check-in around one euro in seven, and club access, morning yoga and bike rental make up the rest. At a wellness hotel, the last hours of a stay are the easiest thing to sell.

The numbers, in full
From AskWhisper's platform data for MIX, 1 January to 13 October 2026. Every figure is rounded down.
| The result | What it is | What's behind it |
|---|---|---|
| 30,000+ | Guest messages sent in 2026 | Over half are journey messages that go out on their own, matched to what the guest booked. Around four in ten are AI replies. Fewer than one in 25 were typed by someone on the team. |
| 90%+ | Of replies written by the AI | More than 12,000 AI replies against about 1,100 from the team, January to mid-October. The ones that reached a person were the ones that needed one. |
| <10s | Median time to an answer | At any hour. When a person replies, the median is over an hour and a half, which is why it matters that nine replies in ten don't need one. |
| €9,000+ | Extras sold through AskWhisper in 2026 | 300+ extras booked before and during the stay. Late check-out with wellness access is the best seller on its own, at €3,500+. |
