AskWhisper + MyTourist

Built for small teams: MyTourist bookings, handled automatically

The short answer

Yes, AskWhisper integrates with MyTourist. It is built for smaller properties, so the setup is short: connect the account, check what came through, go live. Bookings, traveller details and registration data flow in, and automated messages and upsells run without anybody sitting at a desk.

Where MyTourist sits

Travellers are on top, on the channels they already use. Your own systems sit underneath, where the real numbers live. AskWhisper is the layer between: it reads from one and answers on the other.

What flows, and which way

MyTourist stays your system of record. AskWhisper reads from it live and writes back only what it changes.

AskWhisper reads

MyTouristAskWhisper
  • New and changed reservations, the moment they happen
  • Traveller names, contact details and language
  • Arrival and departure dates, room type and room moves
  • Rates, extras and folio lines

AskWhisper writes back

AskWhisperMyTourist
  • Completed check-ins and registration details
  • Confirmed upsells, posted to the right folio
  • Preferences and notes picked up in conversation

What you can expect

Three things your team notices in the first week.

  • Your front desk stops retyping

Reservation data arrives on its own. Nobody exports a list, nobody copies a name between two screens, and nobody works from yesterday's arrivals.

  • Messages fire on the right trigger

A booking, a room move, a checkout - each one starts the right message at the right moment, without anyone having to remember to send it.

  • Upsells land on the right bill

A traveller accepts a late checkout in the chat and it's posted to their folio. No second system, and nothing to reconcile at the end of the month.

Getting connected

Three steps, no developer and no data migration.

  1. 1

    Connect your account

You authorise AskWhisper from inside MyTourist. There are no API keys to hunt down, nothing to install, and nothing to move.

  2. 2

    Check what came through

Your properties, room types and rates appear in AskWhisper. Look them over once - there is nothing to configure.

  3. 3

    Turn on what you want

Choose which journeys, upsells and check-in steps should run. Most properties are live within a few days.

Questions hoteliers ask about connecting

Does AskWhisper work with MyTourist?

Yes, and it is a good fit for the smaller properties MyTourist is built for. Bookings, traveller details and registration data flow into AskWhisper, which then handles messaging, upsells and check-in on its own. There is no front desk shift required to keep it running.

How do I connect MyTourist to AskWhisper?

You link your MyTourist account and AskWhisper starts reading bookings straight away. The setup is deliberately short for small teams: connect, check what came through, go live. There is nothing to install, nothing to migrate and nothing to maintain afterwards. Most properties are live within a few days.

Which PMS systems does AskWhisper integrate with?

AskWhisper integrates with Mews, Cloudbeds, Lighthouse, RoomRaccoon, Apaleo, protel, Clock PMS+ and MyTourist. Every one of them covers two-way reservation sync, traveller profile sync and messaging triggered by reservation events. The integrations page lists what each supports, and new connections are added in the order customers ask for them.

Can I connect AskWhisper to my access control system?

Yes. AskWhisper connects to Salto for electronic access control. Digital keys are generated from live reservation data and delivered to the guest on their phone, activating at check-in and expiring at checkout without anyone deactivating them. Your existing locks and door hardware stay exactly as they are.

How does AskWhisper handle digital key delivery?

Digital keys are generated from your live reservation data and delivered to the guest on their phone, through WhatsApp or the guest app. The key activates at check-in time and expires at checkout on its own. No plastic cards, no lockboxes and no manual handover at the desk.

What if I don't have a PMS?

Most of AskWhisper works without one. The website, the webchat, the knowledge base, the AI receptionist and the journey emails all run on the facts you give us. Connecting a PMS adds the reservation-aware parts: the shared inbox, and digital check-in and keys.

Which messaging channels can AskWhisper answer on?

AskWhisper answers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Gmail, Outlook and the webchat on your own website. Every conversation lands in one shared inbox, so a traveller who asks on Instagram and follows up by email is still a single thread for your team.

How long does it take to connect my PMS?

Most connections take a few minutes. You authorise access from inside your own account, and reservations start flowing straight away. There is nothing to install and no data to migrate. From that first connection to a fully live property, most hotels are running within a few days.

Does my data have to move to AskWhisper?

No. Your PMS stays the system of record and your data stays where it is. AskWhisper reads from it live and writes back only what it changes, like a confirmed upsell or a completed check-in. Disconnect the integration and your PMS is exactly as it was.

What happens if I switch PMS later?

You connect the new one and disconnect the old one. Your website, knowledge base, messages and journeys live in AskWhisper rather than in the PMS, so none of that has to be rebuilt. Changing PMS is a connection swap, not a migration.
