Cloudbeds integration

1. Signing up for AskWhisper

You can sign up for AskWhisper by reaching out to info@askwhisper.com, by booking a demo with us or by simply requesting the integration on your Cloudbeds marketplace.

2. Connecting with Cloudbeds for the first time

1. Log in to Cloudbeds
2. Click on "Accounts" (right corner) and go to "App & Marketplace"
3. Search for AskWhisper
4. Click on the "Connect App" button
5. Authorize AskWhisper to access your account
6. Once you give your consent to Cloudbeds, you will be redirected to the AskWhisper dashboard where you can complete the onboarding if you haven't done so — the PMS connection is already made — or you'll go straight into the dashboard where you can view the connection settings under "Settings"
7. Review your properties details in AskWhisper. There is nothing to configure; in case you spot any mistakes, please reach out to support@askwhisper.com
8. Book a follow-up call with our team. During this call, we will review your configurations and help you get started.

Limitations with regards to WhatsApp

We've built our platform to be as intuitive and easy to use as possible. However, there are a few important limitations in WhatsApp's messaging policies that you should be aware of.

• When a guest sends you a message, a 24-hour conversation window opens. Within this window, you can exchange as many messages with the guest as you like, free of charge.
• To start a conversation and open this 24-hour window, you must send a Meta-approved message template with a small cost. Billing for this is handled through Meta; managing and sending the templates is handled directly through the AskWhisper dashboard.
• If the 24-hour window has expired, you will first need to send a template message to the guest before you can freely exchange messages again.

Specific functionalities with Cloudbeds

AskWhisper is seamlessly integrated with Cloudbeds through a 2-way connectivity. With our Cloudbeds integration you have access to all our advanced functionalities:

• Reservations are automatically synced between Cloudbeds and AskWhisper
• The guest folio is automatically updated when an upsell request is accepted and added to a reservation.

Disconnecting from AskWhisper side: please go to "Settings" and press the "Disconnect from Cloudbeds" button.
